Knowledge Platform, Pakistan’s leading education technology company, and Sindh Education Foundation (SEF), a semi-autonomous organization have teamed up to enhance for students in Karachi.

On April 18, 2024, a significant milestone was reached as the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF), under the Government of Sindh, signed a Letter of Understanding (LoU) with Knowledge Platform at the SEF Head Office. Mr. Abdul Jabbar Mari, Director (HR and P&P) from SEF, and Ms. Mehek Khan, Regional Engagement Lead from Knowledge, represented their respective organizations during the signing ceremony.

The LoU marks a collaborative effort between SEF and Knowledge Platform aimed at providing Digital Learning Platforms to students of Grades 9 & 10 and teachers of FAS Schools in the Karachi Region. Ten selected secondary schools supported by SEF, with a target of five hundred students, will benefit from this initiative, which will be provided free of cost.

Speaking about the partnership, Mr. Umair Ali, Director Sales and Marketing at Knowledge Platform, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are committed to supporting SEF in their mission to enhance education in Sindh through innovative digital solutions.”

Assistant Director Wazir Ali of SEF emphasized the importance of technology in education, saying, “Technology intervention in education is inevitable in today’s world. SEF is proud to lead this initiative by partnering with organizations like Knowledge Platform to improve teaching and learning in schools.”

Both organizations have pledged to work closely together to ensure the successful implementation of digital provisions for students and teachers. Knowledge Platform has already planned detailed orientation and training sessions for teachers and school headteachers to facilitate the seamless integration of digital learning tools.

As the partnership progresses, progress will be monitored closely, and utilization reports will be shared with SEF teams, ensuring transparency and accountability in the implementation process.
